Today, we received good news that Governor Tom Wolf and PennDOT has awarded the City of Pittsburgh’s Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI) a $165,000 grant to install a new traffic signal pole, new traffic signals, and pedestrian countdown timers at the intersection of Bayard Street and Bigelow Boulevard. The project will help to improve safety in this high-pedestrian corridor. You can find more information on this project from Governor Wolf’s office here: https://www.governor.pa.gov/governor-wolf-announces-40-municipalities-to-improve-traffic-safety-with-red-light-enforcement-funds/?fbclid=IwAR3uqQJ3-89ilhFl-eLuS3L1hlWTabsgw1XJqJ2E_TVwGq5V_XoiO6NeG58.
